The club cycle

Team Grader supports clubs at the moments that matter most across the full year — one connected workflow from first trial to next season's kick-off.

The five-stage club cycle: trials and selection, season setup, regular season, end of season, and year-round programs
  1. Trials and team selection

Structure assessments, capture evidence consistently, and build teams with confidence and fairness. Every grader works from the same criteria, so selections are transparent and defensible. Public registration feeds trials directly, and parents can lodge Play with Friends requests alongside.

  2. Season setup

Prepare squads, allocations, and logistics so coaches begin the season organised — with clearer player context inherited from trials rather than starting from scratch. Send squad offers and track acceptances so no registered player is left without a team, allocate association ground bookings to teams and training, and track player payments and vouchers as registrations land.

  3. Regular season operations

Capture coaching insights on players, availability, and development while supporting recurring team workflows week to week. Fixtures and results can sync from Dribl so coaches see upcoming games and shifts, and coaches submit payment claims against club-defined rates, with approvals handled in the same place.

  4. End-of-season outcomes

Generate coaching reports, review development progress, and give every player a clear retain, retrial, or release outcome — driven by the coach recommendations captured through the season, with AI verification that each decision is supported by the evidence.

Season outcomes with retain and retrial decisions verified against season evidence
  5. Year-round programs

Run development programs and academies with player or team invites, scheduled sessions, attendance tracking, and program payments — including vouchers such as Active Kids. Player history stays connected, so next year's trials start with this year's context.
